Meet the Whos (and the Grinch) bringing Whoville to Parktown this festive season! 💚🎄We're thrilled to reveal the full cast of Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical, proudly supported by Standard Bank.
Leading the charge is Devon Flemmer as the Grinch, a familiar name at NCT, having directed Aesop's Fables and co-directed our Shakespeare double bill of Macbeth & Romeo and Juliet. Now he’s stepping in front of the curtain for this production's most mischievous role. Opposite him, Bisma Memon takes on Cindy Lou Who, the small-but-mighty heart of the story. Max the Dog is shared between two performers: Katlego Nche as Old Max and Winnie Sue Maboea - a 2025 Naledi Theatre Award winner for Best Performance in an NCT Production for Young Audiences, as Young Max. The Who family is rounded out by Wian Fourie-Smit as Grandpa Who, Dumisa Dumisa as Papa Who, Merlyn Collins as Grandma Who, and Bethany-Joy Jiyane—a classically trained singer, dancer, and puppeteer—as Mama Who.
Together, this ensemble brings Whoville's warmth, humour, and holiday spirit to life on NCT’s stage.
The show opens 07 November, and performances run 11 November to 23 December.
