Ocsober is a simple challenge: 31 days completely alcohol-free throughout October. It’s an opportunity to reset, focus on your wellbeing, and become more aware of the role alcohol plays in your everyday life.

For some, 31 days may feel easy. For others, it may highlight that extra support is needed — and that’s okay. SANCA offers professional support, treatment and guidance for individuals and families affected by substance use.

We are attending the Childhood Substance use, Related disorders and Mental Health conference in Great brak river in Western cape. The gaming and social media research presentations show the increase as behavioural addictions. The Unisa/SANCA study findings shows the trends of children and substance use. It is wonderful to see how our dream became a reality. Thank you Prof Marelize Schoeman and her team, Denise de B**r and her team of SANCA Garden Route, and the SANCA National team for this wonderful conference to share ideas on shielding our children. 🙏🤗
