Appeal for wheelchair
Sanele is a 7-year-old boy from a community we assist, in KwaThema, Springs.
Sanele tripped on a stone at school and fell, fracturing his spine. After surgery and 10 days in hospital, he is now home but unable to walk.
His mother has been teaching him at home for the past 3 months, but he really wants to go back to school.
We urgently need a children's wheelchair to make this possible.
If you can contribute towards purchasing one, or have a child's wheelchair to donate, we would be most grateful.

🚫 STOP XENOPHOBIA 🚫

This is an URGENT appeal

Once again we are fighting tirelessly against the worst wave of xenophobia the country has seen.

So many people are displaced.

Many have been killed (although the news won't report on it)

We have been helping where we can with all sorts of needs and interventions and as many people who are able to repatriate do so.

But sadly some cannot

Particularly those from places like Eastern Congo and Burundi.

Many of you shop at the Norwood Mall and may know all 33 car guards are from DRC.

The management of the mall has not let them work since last week Wednesday already and they dont know when they will get the go ahead to resume.

They have now missed the most lucrative week for them (being month end When the mall is busiest) of work.

We would very much like to send each guard atleast R500 as a small token of assistance for food or rent. To mitigate the time lost so far.

Please consider donating towards this fund 🙏

We also have our blind and disabled families in jhb CBD all zimbabwean (54 families) who we are also needing to assist and so if we miraculously raise more than we need for the guards the overflow will go toward that community.
