The way you treat others can shape the way you see yourself.

Kindness, respect, and empathy do more than uplift the people around youl, they also influence your own mindset and confidence.

When you lead with compassion, you build stronger connections, a healthier self-image, and greater confidence in who you are. Small actions often create the biggest impact.

Human rights belong to everyone, without exception.🙂

On Human Rights Day, we’re reminded that dignity, equality, and access are not privileges. For people living with vitiligo, this includes the right to respectful treatment, accurate information, and equitable access to care.

Advancing human rights means challenging stigma, closing gaps in healthcare, and creating systems where every individual is seen, heard, and supported. Awareness alone isn’t enough, consistent action is what drives real change.

Let’s continue building a future where rights are protected, voices are valued, and no one is left behind. 💜

Breaking the stigma: Myth vs. Fact on Vitiligo 💜

Myth: You have been bewitched and cursed if you have vitiligo.

Fact: The true cause of vitiligo is still not known but it is said to be an autoimmune disease. It might occur when the immune system mistakenly attacks some part of your body. The skin then starts to get discolored with white patches replacing the natural skin color.

Let’s spread awareness and compassion, not misconceptions. Read more: https://t.ly/nCEWK

Learn about vitiligo:
❓Question: Who Gets Vitiligo?
✅Answer: Vitiligo affects at least 1% of the population. About half of the people who develop this skin disorder experience some pigment loss before the age of 20, and about one-third of all Vitiligo patients say that other family members also have this condition. Even though most people with Vitiligo are in good general health, they face a greater risk of having: Hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism (increased or decreased thyroid function), Pernicious anaemia (Vitamin B12 deficiency), Addison’s Disease (decreased adrenal function), Alopecia Areata (round patches of hair loss), and/or Uveitis (inflammation of the eyes).
