Shalom, beloved in the Lord!
*SUNDAY, MAY 31, 2026*
*THEME OF THE WEEK (4)*
*“THE GLORY OF TRIUMPH”*
Mordecai, God's champion, who saved the Jewish people from a plot to exterminate them by the wicked Haman. When everyone else bowed down to Haman, Mordecai alone knew how to hold his head high, a sign of spiritual authority that surpassed Haman's.
The Bible says:
*Esther 3:5 - And Haman saw that Mordecai did not bend the knee or bow down to him. He was filled with fury;*
*Esther 3:6 - but he disdained to lay hands on Mordecai alone, for he had been told of whose people Mordecai was, and he wanted to destroy Mordecai's people, all the Jews who were found throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus.*
A Jew is a powerful people who bow down only before God, and it is a people to whom God said:
*Isaiah 54:15* *If anyone plots against you, it will not be from me; whoever conspires against you will fall under your power.*
This is how Haman ultimately fell before Mordecai and Esther, for the Jews are a race of giant-slayers.
*Esther 6:12* - *Mordecai returned to the king's gate, and Haman hurried home, distraught and with his head covered.*
*Esther 6:13* - Haman told his wife Zeresh and all his friends everything that had happened to him. His wise men and his wife Zeresh said to him, “If Mordecai, before whom you have begun to fall, is of Jewish descent, you will not be able to do anything against him, but you will surely fall before him.”
You are of the race of giant-slayers. Do not tremble before anything, do not back down before anyone, for within you resides a superior spirit that can bring about the fall of giants.
>Father, thank you for the anointing of the Holy Spirit that causes giants to bow before me and my family.
>I am of the race of giant-slayers, and whoever rises up against me will fall under my power.
>I declare and proclaim the glory of God over my life and my family as a sign of victory and triumph, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
