One can. Two can. You can.

Today, our JIWA members came together for one of our biggest food drives of the year, reaching five old age homes in Turffontein with food parcels and kindness.

Our volunteers personally handed out each parcel, and the greatest reward was seeing the smiles, gratitude, and warmth on the faces of those who received them. Moments like these remind us that even the smallest act of generosity can make a meaningful difference.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and supported this initiative. Together, we're building a stronger, more compassionate community. ❤️

Team JIWA recently visited Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital in Joburg, and the experience was pure magic. We were so honored to donate 45 fully packed maternity bags and blankets to help moms welcome their precious little ones into the world! ✨

Every single bundle was packed with care and essentials—from newborn growers, nappies, and creams to cozy baby blankets and a special, comforting blanket just for the moms. 🌸

The Johannesburg Indian Women’s Association (JIWA) recently came together for a special blanket drive dedicated to supporting and comforting young girls who have survived abuse.
A blanket is more than just fabric—it’s a symbol of safety, warmth, and the embrace of a community that stands firmly behind them. We hope these small tokens bring comfort and remind these resilient young girls that they are never alone.
