Momentum is building! For the Global Week of Action, Climate Reality Leaders headed to the Cape Town civic centre to hand over our petition for Cheap, Clean Energy Now.

The delivery went incredibly well! The petition was officially received by Helen Davies (Director: Risk and Resilience) on behalf of Executive Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis. Clean energy is the cheapest form of electricity almost everywhere. Local municipal leaders are uniquely positioned to bypass national roadblocks and bring cheap, abundant solar and wind power straight to our local communities.
