Delegates of the Regional Steering Committee visited key intervention sites in Lusaka to witness how catalytic support is transforming lives for adolescents and young people.

With youth making up 40% of Lusaka’s population, the need for integrated sexual and reproductive health services has never been more critical. We are proud to highlight our partners who are bridging these gaps:

Lifeline/Childline Zambia: Operating 24/7 toll-free helplines - childline 116 and Lifeline 933 to provide psychosocial support and combat gender-based violence (GBV).

YWCA Zambia: A sanctuary for survivors, offering a multi-sectoral approach to recovery—from legal advice to mental health services at their Drop-In Centre.

TIKO-Lusaka (Kalikiliki Ecosystem): A tech-enabled model using digital tracking and "Tiko Miles" to incentivize healthy behaviors and connect youth to quality healthcare.

These visits showcase the power of innovative financing and community ownership in building a sustainable future for Zambia's youth.
Thanks to UNFPA Zambia for supporting these partners' efforts.
