100abc in South Africa ~ Education for the girl-child. Funding for community based projects. Collaborations for a good cause. AlUta....!

The 100abc’ers Club is a membership-based fundraising NGO that was founded in 2010 with a special focus on raising funding for community based NGOs whose focus is on the betterment of children. We work towards aiding in the sustainability of children’s organisations in hope that they will continue to improve the lives of the most vulnerable members of our society. We provide financial assistance i

n the form of individual scholarship funding and grant funding for project based initiatives geared towards the betterment of community based NGO’s whose focus is on aiding the lives of children within said communities. Our pool of funding is raised through a combination of the following; monthly 100abc’ers Club membership fees of R300 per member, project specific donations from various corporate sponsors including the Woolies MySchool Card initiative and social and cultural events hosted by the Club. The funds raised are distributed annually in the form of individual scholarships and bi-annually in the form of grant funding. We monitor the continued impact of these two streams via regular and an eventual close-off feedback session.

Funding for community based educational initiatives and high-school scholarship applications for 2025 are now open!

Email [email protected] for details regarding the application process.

Since 2010, our passionate team of 4 at 100abc has been committed to transforming the lives of children in South Africa through education. Inspired by Nelson Mandela’s belief that “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world,” 100abc was founded to raise funds and provide financial support to early childhood development centers (ECDs) and disadvantaged girls.

Through our efforts, we’ve touched the lives of over 500 children and awarded scholarships to 4 deserving individuals.

Our funding pool is made possible through:

1. Monthly Club membership fees of R300 100abc
2. Social and cultural events
3. Corporate support, including MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet initiative

If you share our vision and believe in the power of education, we invite you to join us in this journey.

Applications for 2025 funding are open until 31 October 2024. Let’s make a lasting impact together!
