Our Story

The Klein Jukskei Greenbelt Initiative is a community-driven project to create a clean, safe and accessible Klein Jukskei River for all the community to enjoy. We are currently focusing on the section between Malibongwe and Witkoppen Rd, We exist because of generous donations from community members and body corporates. We are registered NPO and have vision of developing a trail that extends the whole length of the 7km river frontage between these two roads. Currently there exists a 3km trail loop starting ending in Robyn park, which was sponsored by SheerGuard SA. We host community cleanups, community building events and have been able to develop a Robyn Park River Rampage bike park in Robyn Park with assistance of Dirt Lab and are looking for sponsors to assist with some bridges to facilitate the trails development as wells as phase 2 of the bike park .
