Today’s Build Lab, facilitated by Hachac Foundation, was an incredible experience centered around LEGO®-based learning through play.

We had the privilege of welcoming children from a local daycare, and the room was filled with excitement, curiosity, and creativity from the moment they stepped in. Using LEGO bricks as our learning tool, the children explored problem-solving, teamwork, and imagination in the most natural and joyful way.

What stood out most was how quickly they turned simple blocks into meaningful creations — towers, shapes, stories, and ideas that reflected how powerfully young minds learn when given the freedom to play.

It was more than just building; it was discovery, confidence-building, and early STEM thinking in action. Seeing their confidence grow with every structure they completed reminded us exactly why learning through play matters.

A beautiful session, full of energy, laughter, and future innovators in the making.

There is power in exposing young people to conversations that expand how they see themselves and the future around them.

Through our partnership with HashTheory for the upcoming tech debate, Hachac Foundation has had the opportunity to engage with learners across different schools through tech talks focused on innovation, digital thinking, leadership, and the future of technology.

These conversations go beyond technology itself. They are about helping young people realize that their ideas matter, their voices matter, and that they too can contribute to shaping the digital future of our communities and our country.

One conversation can spark curiosity. One moment of exposure can shift a mindset. One opportunity can awaken purpose.

This is why these tech talks matter.

Yesterday’s tech talk at Jabulani Tech formed part of our ongoing school tour focused on technology, innovation, and future thinking.

The session encouraged learners to see themselves as active participants in shaping the future rather than simply consuming it. Conversations like these are important in helping young people understand the impact of technology on society and the role they can play within it.

Each school visit continues to reinforce the importance of creating spaces where learners are encouraged to think critically, ask questions, and engage with the future in a meaningful way.

Another important step in preparing future minds for future conversations.

Another conversation, another school, another stop on the school tour for the upcoming tech debate by HashTheory.

Tomorrow we continue the journey of engaging young minds in meaningful conversations around technology, innovation, digital responsibility, and the future they are stepping into. These visits are more than just talks — they are opportunities to challenge learners to think critically, ask bigger questions, and begin seeing themselves as active participants in the future of technology.

As the school tour continues, it has been inspiring to witness the curiosity, intelligence, and potential that exists within our schools. Every classroom reminds us how important it is to create spaces where young people can speak, think, debate, and explore the rapidly changing digital world around them.

We look forward to another impactful session, another exchange of ideas, and another opportunity to prepare learners for a platform that celebrates youth voices, critical thinking, and future-focused dialogue.

Today we visited Moletsane Secondary School for a tech talk themed “Future Minds.”

We explored what it truly means to see ourselves not only as users of technology, but as the generation that will shape, question, and build it. The conversation encouraged learners to think beyond the screens in their hands and begin imagining the solutions they can create for the world around them.

Through the work of Hachac Foundation, this session forms part of preparing learners for the upcoming tech debate by HashTheory—and more importantly, nurturing confidence, curiosity, and ownership in young people as future leaders in technology.

Celebrating Sinothile Ndamane — a true force of purpose and leadership.

A proud Hachac Foundation Changemakers winner, Senior Leader and Disciplinary Committee member at Leadership Legacy Academy, and Founder of Clean, Sinothile continues to raise the bar for what young leadership looks like in action.

Her recent interview on Our Space on SABC 2 made us incredibly proud at Hachac Foundation. She represented not only herself, but the heart of the work we do in developing confident, community-driven young leaders.

Accompanied by Changemakers Director Xolisile Malumla, this moment reflects the power of guidance, mentorship, and youth excellence.

Congratulations, Sinothile. You are the embodiment of impact, discipline, and vision.
