Youth Day reminds us that every child deserves to be seen, heard, protected, and given the opportunity to grow into their full potential.

At Hearts of Hope, we believe that hope starts with children. It starts with safety, love, education, encouragement, and the steady support of a community that chooses to show up.

From school mornings and homework afternoons to meals, care, comfort, and the steady routines that help children feel safe, every contribution matters.

Did you know Hearts of Hope has a tiny thrift shop? 💙

It may be small, but it plays a mighty role in helping us raise much-needed funds for the children in our care.

We are currently looking for good-quality pre-loved donations to help keep it stocked, including:

🛏️ Linen, curtains and bedding
🍽️ Crockery and cutlery
👗 Adult clothing
🛋️ Furniture and household items

Every item you donate can become part of something bigger. Your pre-loved goods help us raise funds that go directly towards caring for our children and supporting the daily needs of our home.

A monthly gift can make a lasting difference. 💙

At Hearts of Hope, your support helps us provide the everyday essentials our children need to feel safe, cared for, and supported, from nutritious meals and school supplies to clothing, toiletries, medical care, and so much more.

Every amount matters.

R100 a month can help provide basic essentials.
R200 a month can help make sure our children have what they need for daily care.
R500 a month can help support food, clothing, education, and the running of a safe and loving home.

When many people give a little, it becomes something powerful.

An evening filled with generosity, connection, beautiful wines, and a room full of people who chose to make a difference in the lives of our children.

This week, our home is in need of Sunlight Liquid to help keep our kitchen clean, fresh, and ready for the many little meals, bottles, dishes, and daily routines that happen here.

It may seem like a simple item, but in a busy home filled with children, it makes a real difference every single day.
