A jam-packed, fun-filled day at Cradle of Creativity Festival!
We recently attended the international festival of theatre which transformed The Market Theatre into a vibrant meeting place for children to experience the power of theatre and the arts. Our children got to experience three magnificent productions Gizo Gizo! The Musical, The Painted Kite, and Serurubele. Thank you so much to ASSITEJ South Africa for inviting us!

One year after the launch of the ๐Œ๐ฒ ๐๐š๐ฆ๐ž ๐ข๐ฌ ๐‚๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ campaign, the educational community of the Three2Six Project shares what peace means to them, their perspectives on the challenges they see in creating and sustaining safe spaces, and why international solidarity continues to matter.

On the International Day of Non-Violence, we are reminded of the importance of continuing to support actions that accompany, protect and uphold the rights of children โ€” so that every child can grow, learn and thrive in a safe and supportive environment.

We recently hosted two social work students from the Wits - University of the Witwatersrand who provided Sexual and Reproductive Health Education workshops to our grade 4 and 5 learners. The aim of these workshops was to provide age-appropriate information and a safe space to ask questions. The three-day programme focused on puberty, personal hygiene, personal boundaries, respecting oneself and others and responsible decision making. The workshop unpacked the social, emotional and physical changes that come with growing up and equipped students with tools to face these changes.

"Hello everyone!

My name is Lilly, Iโ€™m 19 years old and come from a small town in Bavaria in Germany. Iโ€™m thrilled to have the opportunity to volunteer at โ€žThree2Sixโ€œ for a year, from August 2026 to August 2027.

Iโ€™m excited to become part of the Three2Six community and to get to know the children, the teachers and everyone involved. During my time here, I will do my best to assist wherever I can and hope to make a positive contribution to everyday school life by bringing creativity and energy to various activities. At the same time I canโ€™t wait to learn from the children and people around me!

A day at the theatre! ๐ŸŽญ๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ

Last month, our children visited the National Children's Theatre (Nctheatreza) to watch Aesop's Fables. The show included the stories of the lion and the mouse, the boy and the wolf, the wind and the sun, the ants and the grasshopper, the tortoise and the hare. It was a fun and lively outing!
