We recently attended child safeguarding training that took place at Windybrow Arts Centre Arts Centre. Thank you to Luke Lamprecht for bringing his years of experience and knowledge in child protection to share with us. Luke gave an informative and inspiring presentation which was followed by a rich discussion. This valuable training will inform the child safeguarding procedures and practices we implement at our host site, in partnership with the host team. Thank you to all the relevant staff and partners for attending this critical training.

Holiday mode: ON! 🎉 Our holiday programme kicked off last week, bringing plenty of fun, creativity and new experiences to our learners, thanks to our meaningful partnership with UWE Bristol .

From physical education and judo to marimba, crochet, arts, reading and robotics, there’s something for everyone — and plenty to keep curious minds busy!

A huge thank you to the wonderful UWE team for coming all the way from the UK to share your time, energy and talents with our children and make this programme so special! 💛

Term 2 has come to an end.
The end of term culminated in a parent meeting where parents received their children's reports as well as updates on the project going forward. The children prepared a beautiful talent show to present to their parents at the meeting.

Happy National Women's Day

We celebrate the women in our lives and all around us who set us an example of compassion and courage. We honour the crucial role you play in uplifting the next generation.

We’ve been learning with bricks! These blocks were introduced after our teachers attended the "Six Bricks" training just before the start of term 2. They use them in their classrooms for interactive games and mathematics.
For example, grade 2s built 3D shapes like animals, modes of transport and buildings and told stories about them. Whilst in grade 4 and 5 our teachers used the blocks to help teach maths and the properties of 3D objects.

The activities were hands on, with lots of opportunity for creativity and play which increased the concentration span of our learners.

Thank you to Care for Education for providing meaningful training.

That's a wrap: The first group of student interns from the Drama for Life Programme has successfully completed their placement with us!

From February to June, we hosted Masters' student interns from Wits - University of the Witwatersrand to enrich our learner's experience through creative and expressive activities. We are grateful for this partnership which inspires creativity, confidence and personal development in our learners.

We look forward to welcoming the next group of student interns to join us, bringing fresh perspectives, valuable skills, and plenty of fun to the classroom.

Another generous donation, and another reminder of the incredible community standing alongside us.

As xenophobic violence continues to affect refugee and migrant communities across South Africa, we are deeply grateful to another member of our network of supporters for reaching out to our families.

A heartfelt thank you to St David's Marist Inanda for coming together as a school community to collect food and toiletry items. Your kindness will make a real difference to the families we support.

A special thank you to Claudio for organising this wonderful initiative.

"Three2Six has given me a vision of hope. I started here and even after matriculating I still came back here. It gives me a sense of belonging to show that you are home and you are better.”

We're so grateful to Injini - Africa's EdTech Accelerator & Think Tank for creating another beautiful video that captures the heart of our project through the voices of those who know it best. It reflects not only the educational support we provide, but also the sense of belonging, hope and community that so many of our children and alumni find here.

Thank you, Injini, for helping us shine a light on the right to education for refugee and migrant children and for sharing our story so powerfully.

In these incredibly difficult times for many refugee and migrant families in South Africa, we couldn't be more grateful for the incredible network of supporters who continue to stand with our community.

A huge thank you to Brescia House School for their generous donation of bags filled with food items and toiletry essentials, and to Lerelle for organising it! These thoughtful gifts will bring much-needed relief to families facing challenging circumstances.

This is a powerful reminder that kindness, solidarity and community can make a meaningful difference. Thank you for standing with us. 💙
