ACT Foundation South Africa

ACT Foundation South Africa ACT Foundation is a worldwide non-profit organisation which endeavors to cross all man-made barriers, to dry the tears, bring smiles and help the helpless!

ACT Foundation is a global charity community which operates in a growing number of countries across Africa, Asia and Europe. ACT Foundation was formed in the United Kingdom (UK) by a small group of people committed to unconditional service to humanity and is developing into a worldwide movement, transcending all human-made barriers of race, class, gender, religion, and politics. Dedicated to carin

g for all life on earth, ACT Foundation works throughout the world to provide resources and services such as food, shelter, clothing, medical care, education and other means of support that empower and uplift the helpless and needy. ACT Foundation’s causes and projects are wide and varied, encompassing small initiatives led by an individual or small group, to larger projects carried out in partnership with other organizations. Size is irrelevant because every ACT whether small or large, local or global, counts. ACT Foundation members all have the same aspirations; serving humanity, helping the helpless, giving dignity to the poor, being kind and compassionate and giving opportunities to the less fortunate. ACT Foundation is about connecting, organizing and coming together; about standing united in the world and being the change we wish to see. It is about harnessing and unleashing the collective power we have to give to and care for those in need and to prevent and alleviate suffering across the globe. ACT Foundation also serves as a platform for connecting people and for sharing ideas, information, resources and experiences. ACT Foundation encourages us to find our own ways of coming out of the lethargy, apathy and passivity induced by the stress and confusion of our daily lives and to value our free time as a precious opportunity to serve and express Love unconditionally towards Mother Earth, her people, plants, animals, and the natural systems on which all life depends. Join this movement of selfless service across all human-made barriers and see your life transform into positivity and deep inner fulfillment that only Unconditional Love can give!

πŸ’› 23 & 24 April 2026 – Nourishing Young Hearts

On 23 April, ACT Foundation S.A. sponsored a warm lunch for 30 learners at Skylark Primary School, serving curried butter beans and potato sandwiches β€” a simple meal, shared with care.

On 24 April, another 30 learners at Northview Primary School received the same nourishing lunch, along with 20 litres of bottled water, helping ease the challenges caused by the current water shortage in the area.

At Northview, the need runs even deeper β€” the school provides breakfast for these learners, as many go without dinner. πŸ’”

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful sponsors who donated a kettle and instant porridge, making it possible for these children to start each school day with a warm meal and a little more comfort. πŸ™

To every single person who contributes β€” your kindness is changing lives, one meal at a time.

πŸ’› 22 April 2026 – Serving with Love at Foresthaven Secondary School

On a cold and rainy morning, the ACT Foundation S.A. sponsored a warm, nourishing lunch for over 60 learners at Foresthaven Secondary School.

A heartfelt thank you to Aunt Neela, Suhayla, and Adele, who arrived early to lovingly prepare a delicious meal of curried sugar beans with potatoes and rice β€” bringing warmth and comfort to every plate. πŸ™

Despite the weather, the spirit of seva shone brightly. The smiles and gratitude from both learners and staff said it all.

With deep appreciation, we thank ACT S.A. for their continuous selfless love and grace that make moments like these possible. πŸ’ž

πŸ’› Serving with Love at Olievenhoutbosch Disability School

The ACT Team recently visited Olievenhoutbosch Disability School, delivering an incredible 314.7 kg of groceries β€” enough to provide over 1,700 meals for the children in the coming weeks.
As always, we were welcomed with the most loving smiles and warm hugs, reminding us how special this place truly is. It was a blessing to serve a delicious lunch to these beautiful children β€” our little angels. ✨

This is more than a visit β€” it’s an ongoing commitment. ACT-SA continues to provide daily midday meals, ensuring every child receives a nourishing lunch each school day.
We are always grateful to be there, to serve, and to share these heartfelt moments.

πŸ™ Thank you to everyone who supports this mission β€” your kindness makes all of this possible.

πŸ’” Urgent Support Needed – Ivory Park
The ACT Team was recently informed of a devastating fire in Ivory Park, where 7 homes were completely destroyed, leaving families with nothing.
Without hesitation, we came together and delivered 129 kg of essential groceries to support the affected families in this difficult time. With the incredible help of the Mohanji Youth Club, supplies were quickly purchased and distributed to those in need. πŸ™
One family has been especially impacted β€” two young children sustained severe injuries and are currently in the hospital. Our hearts are with them, and we are holding onto hope for their full and speedy recovery. πŸ’›
This is a time for compassion, unity, and action.
If you would like to support these families further, please consider donating.
πŸ‘‰ Kindly mark your donation β€œIvory Park”, and we will ensure it reaches those who need it most.
Together, we can help rebuild hope from loss.

πŸ’› The second Seva on Good Friday was just as meaningful.

A total of 90 kg of grocery hampers was distributed to truly deserving families β€” a small but heartfelt effort to bring comfort and relief.

On this auspicious day, we came together to share not just food, but care, hope, and a little extra cheer for the Easter weekend. ✨

Grateful to be part of these moments of giving and connection.

πŸ’› On 03 April 2026, Good Friday, seva was carried out at the Sahara Safe Home for Children in Phoenix, Durban.

Groceries, toiletries, and 10 pre-loved storybooks were lovingly donated β€” small gifts that carry big meaning.

But the most special moment of all was seeing the children together for the first time, sharing joy, connection, and smiles that truly touched the heart. πŸ’ž

Moments like these remind us why we serve β€” with love, with care, and with gratitude.

πŸ’› Frazers will always be a part of our heartbeat.

Before Nonoti blossomed into what it is today, Frazers was our weekly home of seva β€” where over 300 beautiful souls, mostly children, filled our hearts with purpose through their smiles.

Time and distance may have taken us further away, but the bond was never broken… it simply waited.

Yesterday, returning felt like coming home. The same warmth. The same love. The same reminder that seva is not about distance, but about intention and heart.

We shared sweet packs, food ingredients, clothing, pyjamas, and health essentials β€” but more than that, we shared connection.

With deep gratitude, we renew our commitment to this incredible community.

Frazers, you are not a memory… You are a living pulse within us. πŸ™πŸ’«

ACT-SA Seva in Jhb. Saturday, 28 March 2026

🌟When Hearts are aligned in Collaboration, Magic flows in all its Golden Essence.
And so it was with this Food Seva in Diepsloot, which evolved into a pre-Easter Extravaganza of Happiness.

🌟It was the ACT team's first visit to this location and also served as a Meet & Greet to determine how best to help this community.

🌟 had supplied all the Food ingredients the day before
for a Vegan fare of the favourite samp & beans with the added touch of carrots, cabbage, and soya chunks, and a mix of gentle, aromatic spices.

🌟The meal was Hearty and Wholesome, cooked on an open wood-fire by the housemother and her helpers. It was just delicious! The housemother proudly beamed, "I cooked it Mozambican-style."
The samp was cooked to perfection. The 'soup' too, which was served layered atop the samp.

🌟 arrived with more loaded trunks of
fruit, biscuits, breadrolls, cakes, and other sweet treats.

🌟Replete with lunch, the little eager faces and grannies too were flushed with more excitement as they were handed takeaway snack packs for their road back home.

🌟The housemother had identified a number of child-headed households in the area.
The team also provided grocery bags for them.

ACT Team and those loving, giving Hands that supported in cash, kind, and goodwill. Thank You and Bless You.

ACT Seva is ongoing.
We invite your support as per your Wish, Will, and Capacity.
