ACT Foundation South Africa ACT Foundation is a worldwide non-profit organisation which endeavors to cross all man-made barriers, to dry the tears, bring smiles and help the helpless!

ACT Foundation is a global charity community which operates in a growing number of countries across Africa, Asia and Europe. ACT Foundation was formed in the United Kingdom (UK) by a small group of people committed to unconditional service to humanity and is developing into a worldwide movement, transcending all human-made barriers of race, class, gender, religion, and politics. Dedicated to caring for all life on earth, ACT Foundation works throughout the world to provide resources and services such as food, shelter, clothing, medical care, education and other means of support that empower and uplift the helpless and needy. ACT Foundation’s causes and projects are wide and varied, encompassing small initiatives led by an individual or small group, to larger projects carried out in partnership with other organizations. Size is irrelevant because every ACT whether small or large, local or global, counts. ACT Foundation members all have the same aspirations; serving humanity, helping the helpless, giving dignity to the poor, being kind and compassionate and giving opportunities to the less fortunate. ACT Foundation is about connecting, organizing and coming together; about standing united in the world and being the change we wish to see. It is about harnessing and unleashing the collective power we have to give to and care for those in need and to prevent and alleviate suffering across the globe. ACT Foundation also serves as a platform for connecting people and for sharing ideas, information, resources and experiences. ACT Foundation encourages us to find our own ways of coming out of the lethargy, apathy and passivity induced by the stress and confusion of our daily lives and to value our free time as a precious opportunity to serve and express Love unconditionally towards Mother Earth, her people, plants, animals, and the natural systems on which all life depends. Act Joburg team visited a disability school for children and, as always, received so much love from all the children.
520 kg of groceries were purchased and delivered.
Around 2500 meals will be cooked and served this coming month for all the children, and each lunch is provided by your donations.

💛 ACT Cape Town – School Lunch Programme at Vrygrond Peace Garden 🙏

The ACT School Lunch Programme continues to provide after-school meals to children attending the programmes at the Vrygrond Peace Garden.

On this occasion, 100 nutritious vegan meals were lovingly prepared and served, including delicious vegetable pasta and soup. 🥣🍝💞

This beautiful collaboration is made possible through the generous contributions and loving support of Zaid and Brown from Vrygrond Peace Garden, together with an amazing team of volunteers who give their time to prepare the food and serve the children.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributes through Mai-Tri donations, helping keep the pantry stocked and ensuring that these nourishing meals can continue. Your support truly means the world to the children. 🧡

💛 ACT Cape Town – Seva at Strandfontein Beach 🌊🙏

On 8 August, ACT Cape Town supported the Vrygrond Peace Garden Beach Clean-Up by providing lunch for the dedicated community volunteers who came together to care for their local environment.

A total of 50 meals were served to the wonderful volunteers who took part in the clean-up at Strandfontein Beach in the Cape Flats. 🍽️💞

It was beautiful to see people coming together in the spirit of service — caring for their community, protecting their surroundings, and supporting one another.

A heartfelt thank you to every volunteer who gave their time and energy, and to everyone who made this Seva possible. Together, we can create cleaner communities, brighter spaces, and a stronger spirit of togetherness. 🌱💛

ACT Cape Town recently delivered 63kg of food to the Haven Night Shelter in Kalk Bay, helping support the shelter’s ongoing efforts to provide nourishment and care to those in need.

The shelter provides food and a safe place to sleep for 36 residents, offering not only essential support but also dignity, comfort, and a sense of security. 🏠💞

We are grateful to everyone who contributes to making this kind of Seva possible. Every kilogram of food donated becomes an act of care and a reminder that no one should feel forgotten.

ACT S.A. continued its ongoing Seva by sponsoring 5 grocery hampers for 5 destitute families in Palmview, Phoenix, Durban.

Approximately 50kg of groceries were distributed, together with warm blankets and personal care items to help meet some of the families’ essential needs. 🛍️🧡

For families facing difficult circumstances, these simple acts of kindness can bring much-needed relief and comfort. Every hamper is a reminder that they are not forgotten and that their community cares. 💞

💛 Another beautiful Seva in Phoenix, Durban – 31 July 2026 🙏

ACT S.A. continued its support for the Northview Primary School Lunch Club with a very special and much-needed donation — a refrigerator for the school. 🧊💞

This generous gift was donated by one of our wonderful volunteers, Fiona, who coordinates the Lunch Club Seva. The Principal, Mr Reddy, and Fiona are genuinely grateful for this thoughtful contribution. The school had been in dire need of a refrigerator for some time, and this donation will make a meaningful difference in supporting the daily meals and breakfast programme for the children. 🙏

On the same day, ACT S.A. also sponsored 4kg of cereal and 3kg of fresh apples for the 30 little learners who are part of the Lunch Club. 🍎🥣

It is heartwarming to see how this Seva continues to grow — providing not only meals, but also the essential resources needed to support these children and the school.
