We recognize the differences that we have in our socio- economic lives and seek to reduce poverty. Movement 2015 was founded by Ms Sandy Hadebe in 2016.

The year 2015 presented loss and discovery of the strength that lies within. This movement resulted when pain was turned into purpose and when she embraced what happened and decided to use it to change the world. Sandy looked back on the most difficult period of her life and felt gratitude instead of bitterness because she finally understood it was all part of God’s plan, that it was a catalyst to

ward realising her purpose. Christmas day is about a big present that God gave the world 2000 years ago. It is a day chosen to honour the birth of mankind's redeemer. The aim of Movement 2015 is to give a gift to the disadvantaged in the community of Diepsloot to remember the great gift of Jesus Christ. We believe that giving is not only accomplished when you give out of abundance but also when you give out of nothing.

Our Love In A Bag donations will be distributed to women in Diepsloot on 30 August!

We’ll be joined by the amazing team from , alongside our dedicated Movement Twenty15 NPC members and volunteers, to hand over bags filled with essentials, love, and dignity to women.

Together, we are restoring hope and making an impact, one bag at a time.

Love In A Bag Drive 2025 is here!

This Women’s Month, we’re proud to partner with South Africa as they run the Love In A Bag Drive at their workplace collecting bags filled with essentials, dignity, and love for women in need.

Each donated bag will go to women in the Diepsloot Extension 1 Informal Settlement, many of whom are survivors of poverty and gender-based violence (GBV). Together, we’re turning simple items into symbols of care, hope, and solidarity. 💛

August is Women’s Month in South Africa. It’s a time to honor the resilience, power, and courage of women across our nation. At Movement Twenty15 NPC, this month holds deep meaning as we continue to support SDG1: No Poverty and uplift women who face unimaginable challenges daily.

Through our Love In A Bag Drive, we invite women to donate bags filled with essentials like cosmetics, baby items, food, and household necessities. These are gifted to GBV shelters and marginalized women, bringing not just comfort but dignity and care. We are proud 3-year sponsors of the Women Power Awards, hosted annually by the Region C GBV Forum. These awards recognize phenomenal women tackling gender-based violence and poverty in Johannesburg. Last year, we were truly humbled to receive a Women Power Award ourselves, a recognition we carry with pride and responsibility. ✊🏾💐

This August, we continue to stand with survivors, with leaders, with everyday women doing extraordinary things.

We Did It! The Precast Playroom is Fully Funded! 100% of the funds needed to complete the precast playroom at Ikholwa Children’s Home have been secured! 🙌🏾

Thanks to a generous sponsor secured with the support of Ikholwa’s incredible management team, the remaining amount has been fully covered. Construction will now move forward, and the space will soon be transformed into a safe, vibrant area for storage, learning, and play.

This has been a truly heartwarming journey, and we are so grateful to every single person who donated, shared our posts, and supported this project. Because of you, the children at Ikholwa will soon have a fully equipped room to store their sports gear, enjoy indoor play, relax on bean bags, and make full use of their donated interactive screen.
This is more than a building, it’s a space filled with hope, joy, and new possibilities.
