Expeditionists was founded on the collective dreams of a group of African adventurers that saw a problem in how African adventurers lacked the financial and marketing support of their counterparts in developed countries. Thus, a solution was born on the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and shores of Durban in South Africa, to fill this gap by providing an online platform in which African
adventurers can market themsleves, their cause based expeditions and the content they create. With a team of creatives behind the scenes, the raw content that the African adventurers produce is then packaged into customized and value based 'Africa Inspired' content that will be marketable to exchange with sponsors and content based education enterprises or sell off to brands, businesses and destinations. Our packaged content aims to aspire individuals, communities, brands and businessest to travel, push their boundaries in what they can achieve and define their own moment of greatness while also giving back to Africa. We encourage ourselves and others to explore Africa, the world, its ocean and the stars, to conquer the impossible, solve obstacles, engage the silent and encourage innovation through the advancement of education and knowledge. Through curiosity, courage, creativity, respect and determination, we seek to explore the unknown and familiar, distant and near while recording it all in detail as a creative collective seeking knowledge, experience and expression in telling the journeys from all sides of the spectrum. To explore is to open the book of knowledge on who you are and the world around you, educating yourself to a world of possibilities. Thus, we encourage ourselves and others to be open minded and enlightened on issues around us as we explore and in return educate the public on these issues. We value our education and the public’s education as the best tool we can use to change the world. We value ourselves and others to communicate and engage with individuals, communities, cultures, societies and nations that one might come across.
