By all means, avoid lazy people. Reason: It is easier for them to drag you into their laziness than for you to pull them into your hardwork. Learn to be in the company of hardworking people like yourself.

Why You Are Broke...

You are not broke because you are not making alot of money, you are broke because you have a HOLE 🕳 in your pocket...

Understand this... A porous pocket will make a mockery of your hard work.

Try to do this...

Impose a No-Unnecessary-Spending policy for One month... In that month, only spend on food and necessary bills... Don't send anyone money... If your girlfriend or boyfriend leaves you this period, they never loved you, let them walk, you are fixing the 'country' â˜ș .
During this period of No-Unnecessary-Spending, don't buy anyone gifts or buy your friends beer..... Spend more time indoors... Talk to your children and let them know that you are conducting a financial experiment and that if it works, their future will be brighter.
Be strict and resist every temptation to soften your policy for any reason.

At the end of the month, you will realize one truth - YOU SHOULDN'T BE BROKE IF YOU DIDN'T HAVE HOLES IN YOUR POCKET.

Think on this today...

I love you deeply ♄.

Maranatha.

I’m where I am today because of luck — Tony Elumelu

A lot of people misunderstood Billionaire Tony Elumelu's tweets. This is because we don't read between the lines - we read literal meaning into deep thoughts, another reason why we got confused with the holy books.

Mr. Tony's tweets are Juxtapositions. Please google the word Juxtaposition.
When two contrasting words are placed together to subtly express their difference, it is called Juxtaposition. Intelligent writers use skills like Juxtaposition and Sarcasm to communicate sensitive information.

Now Re-read what he wrote as I inject explanations in brackets: “I am where I am today because of luck. Let me be clear: Luck is important, but it is not a substitute for hard work or labor. Luck is a part of the cocktail that you need for success.

“There are two ingredients for luck -hard work and passion. The more work you put into something and the more passion you apply, the “luckier” you will find yourself. You have to work hard, and be passionate and committed about what you do, to be successful and make your own luck.

(Read this ☝ paragraph again. According to the dictionary, luck means success Achieved through chance with "NO EFFORTS" by you. So why did Mr. Tony insert HARD WORK AND PASSION into Luck? The answer is that Mr. Tony's intention is to inspire hardwork but he knows that Nigerians cannot swallow the bitter pill if he doesn't coat it with what they like the most - Luck or Grace. So because he didn't want to sound religious, he avoided the use of grace and used luck to communicate the need for hardwork and passion.)

Here's the last part of his tweet: “Hardwork and passion are within your power and control, and you should apply them to earn your own luck and to help us foster a better and more prosperous world."

(If you read the last part deeply, you will discover that he is trying to engineer your mind to take CONTROL of your own success and EARN your own 'luck'. If you can earn luck, then it is no longer luck.

Comprehension is key.

When you read a post made by a deep person, please don't read literal meanings into it. If you have been here for sometime, you will understand that I attack sensitive topics with a touch of sarcasm - and this diarms those who would have defended their sentiments and Achieves quick results.

Imagine if Mr. Tony Elumelu had been straightforward and said "I am where I am today because of hardwork and passion". Nigerians would call him boastful, arrogant and godless. But he subtly said the same thing but with a cocktail of juxtaposition and irony.

My name is Charles Awuzie and I am a student of written words.

First You Learn, Then You Earn...

I do not listen to preachers who preach favour without work. They are the bane of this age.

How can you teach energetic young and Middle Aged people that acquiring skills and qualifications is not the major determinant to success but some mystical element called favor which has the magical ability to pick them from the village and place them in White House? Of course, they must sow sacrificial seeds to access this mystical box called favor.

Our youths believed these preachers...They shunned skills, replaced training/learning with praying/fasting, substituted hardwork with sowing hard currency, and worse still despised the Honour and nobility of labour while clinging hopelessly to favour's unscheduled visit.

Do I believe in Favour? YES. A very capital YES. I have enjoyed Favour, but not your type of Favour.

My kind of Favour is what happens when OPPORTUNITY meets PREPARATION. My kind of Favour is the product of a marriage between skill and platform. So you see, I do not see Favour as the absence of labour but I see Favour as the flavor of labor. It is the grease of skill and the announcer of preparation. That's my type of Favour.

I learnt the greatest lesson about Favour from my dad. He once said to me "If you want to beg someone for soup, atleast own a plate." That has been my principle. I do not ask for soup if I haven't acquired a plate and I DO NOT GIVE ANYBODY SOUP UNLESS THEY HAVE A PLATE. Even God asked Moses "What's in your hand?". Alas, today's Pentecostal sermons have created a false expectation in us where we expect Favour to provide us with both the plate and the soup.

There is a need for us to teach this age the principle of learning before earning, training before reigning, working before talking, profession before confession, and labour before Favour. In this, we would save this generation from sliding further into a moral cm spiritual quagmire.
"Seest thou a man who is diligent in his work? He shall stand before KINGS and not ordinary men."~Proverbs 22:29

Dear Nigerian Entrepreneurs DOING BUSINESS IN NIGERIA

Before you comment on any National Issues in Nigeria, visit the platforms of respected entrepreneurs in Nigeria and observe their silence or intentional neutrality on such sensitive political matters.

An entrepreneur is not a political activist. If you haven’t grown to the level of Elon Musk but you come on Facebook to form “activist and entrepreneur”, when what hit Elon hits you, you won’t survive. Politics cost Elon $150 Billion in losses. Tesla is struggling - Trump had to become a Tesla influencer.

You are at the level where you should focus on BUILDING WEALTH, INFLUENCE AND STRONG NETWORKS.

I know you have PASSION to change Nigeria.. all of us do. You are not more passionate than some of us. But to cause change, you need either ECONOMIC POWER or POLITICAL POWER. As an entrepreneur, it is easier to secure massive Economic Power than political power. When you can influence markets and economies by your economic decisions, you can then leverage your power to bring the change you need.

But you see this pre-mature social media soro soke you call “speaking out”, it is pre-mature and amateur.

Elon Musk spent 30 years building before he began doing what he is doing now.

Trump was passionate about causing change in America but he stayed focused on business until he secured the power he needed to effect change.

Even Jesus said “tarry in Jerusalem until you are endued with power”. In Igbo, it means “chere Ka i bute Ike “. Boy oh boy, girl oh girl, prepare your mind for leadership and power. Start getting used to being disliked, misunderstood etc.

Nigeria will not be fixed by SORO SOKE
at least, End SARS should have proven this. Una no Dey learn from history.

Nigeria will be fixed through DEEP INTELLIGENCE DRIVEN STRATEGIC SLOW MENTAL REVOLUTION championed by deeper minds.

Keeping passion UNDER CONTROL is deep wisdom.

You must be strategic with your passion for change.

When Buhari was president, I told you that he wasn’t the problem. His tenure ended and he left. Today, President Tinubu is on that seat, I promise you, fighting the occupant of the seat is counterproductive. It won’t work in Nigeria. It can work elsewhere but not in this country. The President of Nigeria is the most powerful non-world power president in the world. The problem is not who is on the seat. Maybe we should start viewing the system that created the seat as the problem.

A revolutionary president will someday emerge. They will possess massive personal wealth from either Real Estate or Technology. He will be a multi Billionaire in Dollars with proven source of income. He won’t be someone who has kissed political seats in the past. He will be a clean business tycoon who inspires the youths with his hardwork and integrity. He will surpass Dangote in wealth and influence. This futuristic President will dismantle systems, take over the seat using the power of his wealth and the ballots. He shall MAKE NIGERIA GREAT AGAIN. This prophetic President is not currently doing Soro Soke on social media. He or She is warming up in the marketplace until the day of the ex*****on of their National Agenda for Nigeria. Mark this word. Write it down. It is not a prediction, it is a reality because I am surrounded by such people. They are coming. You should join them. Let the activists do their job. We acknowledge ALL GENUINE ACTIVISTS. We need them to keep the movement for the emancipation of Nigeria going.
But for you my dear evolved Nigerian entrepreneur, your calling is beyond social media soro soke. You are a candidate for revolutionary leadership and you can only achieve this through Deep Intelligence Driven Strategic Planning!

Mine Your Past...

There is nothing you went through that was a waste. What didn't kill you was intended to feed you. Often times, the gold mine of our destiny is not in the future but in our past.

2 girls were r***d in the same city. One decided to tell her story to the world hoping that more girls in her shoes would find hope in her story. She later became a global figure, speaking frequently at United Nations' international events on r**e and girl-child education. The other girl developed a phobia for men and lives a bitter lonely life. The difference is that the successful girl mined her past while the 2nd girl suppressed hers.

2 guys were released from jail. One became a motivational speaker, encouraging school kids to turn away from crime using his story as a point of reference. He later became very famous and wealthy. But the other guy became depressed after he saw how much his mates had accomplished while he was in jail. He committed su***de and died painfully. Again, the difference is that the successful guy mined his past.

The fact that you have a past is a proof that you also have a future. The glory of your future is somehow connected to the story of your past. Unveiling the story of your past will unleash your glorious future.

Your past is not meant to be mourned, it is meant to be mined. The more painful your story is, the more gainful your glory will be.

Think about all the inspirational people you know, are they not people who once failed, Rose and started telling stories of their failures? You too can tell your story and inspire someone. By so doing, you would have mined your past.

How A Receptionist Became Richer Than Tony Elumelu....

True Story, Read to the end before crossing over to the new year...

The lady in this picture with Jack Ma is Ms. Tong Judy Wenhong. Tong Wenhong began her journey at Alibaba as a receptionist 18 years ago.

Alibaba CEO, Jack Ma, recognizing her dedication, allocated 0.2% of the company's shares to her in exchange for her services, with the promise that the shares would be worth $100 million upon Alibaba's public listing. When the company was falling apart in its early stages, Jack Ma encouraged her to remain with the company, assuring her of significant reward when Alibaba goes public.

Ms. Tong worked round the clock, juggling between her role as a receptionist to Jack Ma's PA to office manager. Everything was on her and worse still, the company had no money to pay for everything she was doing. And Jack Ma's promise of going public seemed like a mere dream.

Despite waiting for years, Alibaba's initial public offering (IPO) seemed elusive. Tong inquired about the IPO in 2004 and again in 2006, each time receiving the same response from Jack Ma: "soon." However, Jack Ma's "SOON" seemed like the 2nd coming of Jesus - always around the corner but never happening.

Finally, in September 2014, Alibaba went public on the New York Stock Exchange with a staggering valuation of $245.7 billion.

With a 0.2% share in Alibaba, Tong Wenhong was one of the major shareholders in the company and automatically moved from a Receptionist to the Vice President of Alibaba. The value of her 0.2% shares soared to over $320 million. That was how Tong Wenhong became a multimillionaire from being a receptionist.

According to Forbes Magazine, Tong Wenhong is now worth over 1 Billion USD while our own Tony Elumelu is valued at 700 Million USD. These are facts and you can research on your own.

This story raises a thought-provoking question: Can you commit to a company or project for 14 years, especially when its founder is tirelessly striving to establish it?

Can you accept a 0.2% shares in a start-up and give it your all and be PATIENT?

Do you understand that every true success story in Silicon Valley is connected to PATIENCE and not only hardwork?

Here's my advice - THINK LONG TERM.

There were people who started with Ms. Tong Wenhong but felt Jack Ma was too slow. They jumped ship and some even started their own thing. But in truth, Wealth only goes to the patient. Go and ask any Wealthy person, I don't mean people with few thousand dollars , I mean people with good investment portfolios - they were More PATIENT than they were hard at work.

I'm a very patient person.... That's my biggest power. I am patient with relationships, ideas, markets etc. My word is usually - NO RUSH, JUST WAIT.

This is why Transhuman Coin is still pumping despite surviving crazy dips - we are a patient team.

This is why Big Brain Naija will be successful because it has taken me 13 years to conceive and fine-tune this vision - we started as Hunt For Talents Foundation and we had members who are still part of this platform. We held Talent Hunt Events and learnt lessons. Today, we are bringing back the Vision but in a bigger way.
When you find entrepreneurs like us who are PATIENT, partner with them and go through the dark rollercoaster trails with them - you won't regret it.

In the new year, find one entrepreneur with a track record of patience and invest your time and money with them. You will plant a seed that could change your story before the end of the decade.

My name is Charles Awuzie and I am inspired by the story of MS. TONG JUDY WENHONG.

Heavenly Father,

Today, as we celebrate the life of Your son, Dr Charles Awuzie, we do not only honor the remarkable leader the world sees we lift before You the man You are still shaping for generations yet unborn.

Lord, we thank You for the oil upon his head, the oil of vision, courage, wisdom, and uncommon influence. Thank You for the strength that carries him, the grace that distinguishes him, and the fire that refuses to dim.

But Father, we pray beyond today.

We pray into his tomorrow.
We pray into his legacy.
We pray into his posterity.

May the seeds he has sown rise into forests he may not even live to see.
May his obedience echo louder than applause.
May his private altars be stronger than his public platforms.
May the work of his hands outlive trends, seasons, and systems.

Establish his name in honor.
Preserve his heart in humility.
Strengthen his body with divine health.
Shield his mind with peace.
Guard his family with covenant protection.

Let wisdom sit upon his lips.
Let favor surround him like a shield.
Let kings seek his counsel.
Let nations feel the weight of his impact.

And when history speaks of this generation,
may it say that he stood firm,
that he built well,
that he led clean,
that he loved deeply,
and that he feared You greatly.

May his children and spiritual sons and daughters rise and call him blessed.
May the works of his hands testify long after the sound of his voice fades.
May heaven record his labor as faithful and fruitful.

Father, enlarge his territory without enlarging his ego.
Increase his influence without compromising his integrity.
Lift him higher, yet keep him kneeling.

We, the CAMP, stand united in gratitude and in prayer declaring that his best days are not behind him but divinely orchestrated ahead of him.

Happy Birthday, Dr Charles.

The Intentional Follower...

Leadership at all levels is not easy...

While criticism is good, always make sure that you first put yourself in the shoes of the leader you want to criticize.

Most people I meet always tell me how they can lead better if they were leading the teams I lead .. In fact, one came from Nigeria to visit our old office. He asked if we own the place and I said yes. He said I was wasting the space. He told me how he would have turned that place into Silicon Valley etc. Unknown to him, we had already outgrown the place and our vision no longer alligned with the environment where the office was situated. So we were on our way out while he was seeing a silicon Valley in a place that no longer suits our vision.

Every follower must remember that they will become leaders soon.

Be kind with your leader.

Stop being jealous of the benefits he's getting by reason of his position. There's no easy leadership seat - even leading your small family unit is difficult. How much more leading a business, a brand, a government or a ministry.

Even the laziest leader is experiencing untold difficulty attempting to create a new path for the followers - be helpful to your leader before you criticize them.

Be an intentional follower. Only intentional followers become intentional leaders.

My name is Charles Awuzie and I am an Intentional Follower.
