Amazing to have our second group doing training with NSRI Survival Swimming.We will be launching our site soon that will be totally open and free to any child or adult. Thanks to Kiki Marx Karen Jankelow and Sue Rider for giving up your time to be part of this.

Last week we had our training day at Patterson Pool for the NSRI Survival Swimming programme that we will be running.
It was such a beautiful day being trained by two very special NSRI’ers who shared their passion and wisdom with us all.

I’m sure by now many of you have seen the remarkable story of the domestic worker in Jhb who saved her employees child from potentially drowning just a few days ago.
What makes this even more incredible , is this amazing lady cannot swim herself.

It made us think that there must be hundreds of helpers who care for our children who also can’t swim.

We are very busy preparing for the survival swimming course which is expertly run by the NSRI and we would like to do a special Helpers Survival Swimming course that are part of so many families in SA. This is a totally free course and will be Jhb based for now.

With the help of a very generous swimming teacher, starting this week, we have our first swimming lesson being given to a young child who is unable to swim.
It is an extremely special moment for us as our dream and vision comes to life.

Hey guys. Just a little update with where we are at… we have a found a beautiful pool that has given us permission to use their facilities to get moving on some of our plans. As much as we would love to have this up and running already , we all know things take time so keep watching this space for constant updates and as soon as we have more exciting news to share we will do so.
And remember …. Just keep swimming 😊
