Day 2 of the 5th APRM Youth Symposium started on fire! The APRM Communicators Network was launched.

First session was moderated by crime fiction writer who helped the audience understand the theme of the session, as well as the panellists -- all of whom have worked with the national structures of the , or have worked with them.

Ahmed Benin, of Pan-African Youth Union, opens his statement with a rousing call for "Viva Africa!". The first symposium was in in 2019. He asks a few questions - why are African youth apathetic about ? "What is our relative obscurity?"

Why is one of most under-funded AU agencies? Is it because leaders are afraid of accountability and lack of commitment?

The youth, Benin adds, has a responsibility in this room to push for youth concerns - not on the back of the EU or President Trump.

APRM Champions & attended. For Bensah, this remains one of the most memorable and noteworthy activities that sought to help amplify the work of APRM.

The idea was to amplify APRM in dormant structures by employing Media Trainings as first strategy so as to encourage greater media appreciation for its work.
