Honoured to be representing |Kx'am as part of Futures_Past 🌿

Together with !Khwa ttu San Culture & Education Centre, our artist–archive team will work with a powerful collection of nearly 1,000 linocuts by !Xun and Khwe artists, engaging community members to explore how these works might be activated as an immersive, multi-sensory spatial experience.

Through community co-creation, the project centres lived histories, memory, and San cosmologies, using light, sound, voice, and sculptural elements to bring the archive into three-dimensional space.

Artist team:
Indigene (N!hunkxa) Corefio Harris · Faye Victoria Katiiti Khakasa Kabali-Kagwa · Inka Kendzia · Thando Mthembu · Xabiso Vili

Happy Heritage Day Beautiful People!

Happy Spring Equinox to the southern hemisphere 🌻

Happy African New Year ♾️

We honour and celebrate the ancients, those at the root of our human civilization!

To those of us they have tried to bury alive - No retreat, no surrender ✊🏼

WE ARE HERE!

This footage was taken courtesy of New Age Artistry. It is a recording of the Elephant Healing Dance by the Ju/'hoansi in Namibia.

Together we rise 🫶🏽
