This is my message to the body of Christ as a servant of God for 2026. We must realize that there are men of God who stand behind the pulpit carrying unhealed hurts. Even though they may still perform miracles in the name of Christ, they are still human "men" with emotions and personal battles. Some can teach the Word, yet in their actions and even in their message, the compassion of Christ is no longer evident. This is why the role of a spiritual father or mentor must be emphasized, not because such a person is perfect, but because they serve as a God-given model to raise, guide, and restore others.
Secondly, many people are carrying deep hurts, wounds, and unhealthy traits rooted in their background or upbringing—things formed through family patterns, past experiences, neglect, abuse, rejection, or lack of proper spiritual guidance. These unresolved issues often shape behavior, attitudes, leadership style, and responses, even within ministry. However, a truly repentant heart will not justify or normalize these wounds but will continually seek healing, transformation, and deliverance through Christ. Healing is a process, but repentance keeps the heart open to God’s restoring work.
Thirdly, we must run back to our first love. Our walk with God must be rooted in intimacy, not routine; devotion, not performance. You cannot genuinely encounter the presence of God and remain unchanged. When love for God grows cold, compassion fades, pride rises, and ministry becomes mechanical. Returning to our first love realigns our hearts, renews our passion for holiness, restores humility, and rekindles the fruit of the Spirit especially love.
As we approach 2026, the Year of Reinforcement, it is time to help yourself by seeking healing, strengthening your foundation, and walking in wholeness. I pray that the Lord will cleanse our hearts from every blemish and spot, and restore to us the joy of His salvation.
