At **Thuto Pele in South Africa**, we believe that no child should have to choose between learning and an empty stomach. ❤️

That’s why we are proud to run our **Breakfast & Lunch Community Meals Programme** every **Monday and Wednesday** at our Skills Centre next to Jabavu Library.

🥣 **Breakfast – 10:00 AM** | Everyone is welcome
🍛 **Lunch – 15:00** | Learners only
🥖 Bread is provided whenever available.

This programme is about more than food — **it is about dignity, education, hope and building a stronger community.** 🇿🇦

This Tuesday, we choose The Learning Trust . ❤️

Two years ago, Thuto Pele was simply a small grassroots organisation with a big heart and an even bigger dream. Our resources were limited, our bank account could be sitting at zero, and the funding market was not knocking on our door.

But The Learning Trust believed in us.

Through financial support and, just as importantly, capacity building, they helped us strengthen the organisation behind the programmes. They helped us become better prepared, better structured and more confident.

Today, we are not where we were two years ago.

We are growing. We are attracting new opportunities. We are reaching more people. And we are building an organisation that can stand for the long term.

To The Learning Trust: thank you for seeing potential where others may have only seen limitations. Thank you for walking with us. 🙏🏾

At Thuto Pele in South Africa, we already have the bakery equipment needed to produce fresh bread for our community. What we lack are the skills development, raw materials, and startup support to turn this vision into reality.

Our goal is to establish a Community Bakery & Youth Skills Development Centre that will:

🍞 Produce affordable bread for vulnerable families.

👨🏽‍🍳 Train unemployed young people with practical bakery and entrepreneurship skills.

💼 Create employment opportunities.

❤️ Support our nutrition programme that currently serves over 758 children and young people.

📚 Generate sustainable income to strengthen our educational programmes.

We are looking for partners who believe in creating lasting impact through social enterprise.

If your organisation can assist with flour, yeast, baking ingredients, technical training, funding, packaging, equipment servicing or business mentorship, we would love to partner with you.

Together, we can bake more than bread—we can bake opportunity, dignity and hope.
