Today, the kids went to recycling! ♻️

Some brought paper, cardboard, plastic bottles, glass bottles, and cans, while others were unable to bring recyclables this time. The children received money for the recyclable materials they collected, which was very exciting for them.

They were also reminded about the different types of recyclable materials, such as white paper, brown paper, cardboard, glass, plastic, and cans, and learned which items can earn them more money when recycled.

It was a fun and educational day filled with learning, responsibility, and caring for our environment!

Learning goes far beyond the classroom.

Our recent educational excursion to the Hector Pieterson Museum allowed our learners to engage with South Africa’s history in a powerful and meaningful way. By walking through the stories, images, and experiences that shaped our nation, our children were able to connect with the past on a deeper level — building understanding, empathy, and pride in where we come from.

At Innovation of Excellence, we believe exposing young minds to historical spaces helps shape informed, confident, and socially aware future leaders. Because some lessons are best understood when they are experienced firsthand.
