WOW!!!! Things are happening @ Dube Hostel where Ekujuleni Kwenhliziyo Community Development Project was part of the program hosted by Ubuhle Bezintombi Zengcugce NPO together with Cheka IMPILO CAMPAIGN in the celebration of TB month.
The focus was on the importance of taking treatment and finishing the course when diagnosed with TB and addressing Gender Based Violence as a Pandemic in this country.

Ekujuleni Kwenhliziyo Community Development Project in partnership with Cheka Impilo Traditional Health Practitioners, Sukumani Sakhesizwe had an Outreach program at Emnkonti Informal Settlement EMndeni together with the City of Joburg Mobile Unit (Truck) where HTS, TB & STI screenings were done. EKCDP was also giving information about all their services to the community such as GBVF, Domestic Violence and the importance of taking care of their Mental Health. Counselling and referrals to the relevant facilities was also done because Ekujuleni Kwenhliziyo is Always there when needed living our Slogan " Serving Our People Is Our Pride and Priority"

It was an Open Day at Zola Clinic, Ekujuleni Kwenhliziyo Community Development Project (EKCDP) was part of the program where Zola Clinic was giving information about all the services rendered by them as the Department of Health as well as EKCDP, we also offered counselling sessions to some of the community members who came to us for support. Most of the cases were family challenges; Domestic Violence and the abuse of substances .

The two days "Back To School Campaign was very busy and indeed a success. While children's hair was done at Zola Eco Park, NEMISA was conducting the Basic Digital Literacy Training to our Youth inside EKCDP Office. The training was basically introducing our youth to the world of Technology and opening doors for many opportunities such as further courses in Cyber Security etc , learnerships and employment. Mfanafuthi, EKCDP is very much Proud of you and NEMISA must be proud of you guys, Big UppπŸ€πŸ‘ŠπŸ’ͺπŸ™

EMndeni Library was also part of the program, giving children and their parents more information about library services especially the online application of library cards and the benefits WOW!!! We SALUTE You Mr SibekoπŸ™πŸ€πŸ‘ŠπŸ€
