5 YEARS OF TANIE CODES ORG! 🎉💙

Five years ago, an idea was born , to create opportunities, open doors, and make technology more accessible to young people.

Today, we celebrate 5 years of Tanie Codes Org. Five years of coding, learning, teaching, partnerships, challenges, growth, and most importantly, impact.

From small beginnings to classrooms, community programmes, career expos, mentorship initiatives and countless young people reached ,this journey has reminded us that when young people are given access, support and opportunity, they can do extraordinary things.

To every learner, volunteer, mentor, partner, sponsor, school, parent and supporter who has been part of this journey , thank you. 💙

Here’s to 5 years of building, learning and creating possibilities , and to many more years of transforming lives through technology.

Happy 5th Birthday, Tanie Codes Org! 🥳🎂

We are proud to announce a powerful step forward for Tanie Codes Organisation 🇿🇦✨

Tanie Codes is now in partnership with Cisco Networking Academy 🤝🏽 in collaboration with TECH SOCIETY , our sustainability and community-building arm dedicated to empowering women in technology.

This partnership represents more than access it represents opportunity, scale, and long-term impact.

Through Cisco’s NetAcad platform, our community will gain access to:

✨ Industry-relevant courses in networking, cybersecurity, AI, and more
✨ Flexible learning pathways instructor-led and self-paced
✨ Globally recognised certifications, from entry-level support roles to advanced networking pathways

Together with HER Tech Society, we are extending this opportunity to a growing community of 250+ women from townships, informal settlements, and peri-urban areas many of whom are self-taught, unemployed, or transitioning into tech careers.

This is where our model comes to life.

Through Tanie Codes, we introduce and equip young girls with foundational digital skills.
Through HER Tech Society, we create sustainable pathways connecting women to opportunities, networks, and career growth in the tech industry.

With Cisco Networking Academy, we are strengthening this pipeline ensuring that our community doesn’t just learn, but progresses into globally recognised, industry-aligned careers.

We are not just teaching tech.
We are building an ecosystem for access, growth, and sustainability.
