Just like storytelling, crafting is a way of expressing yourself, sharing your creativity and passing something meaningful on to someone else.

Looking Back on the Difference We Can Make Together

As we wrap up Women's Month, we're reminded that every handmade creation has the power to change a life.

One of the projects we're especially proud of was our collaboration with DC Coffee Co in support of The Zoey Grace Fund. Our handcrafted Zo-Bears and other crochet companions, lovingly made by the talented women of Kya Crafts, were sold to help raise funds and awareness for Zoey, a brave little girl fighting cancer.

This initiative was about so much more than crochet. It brought together compassionate people, local businesses, and skilled women artisans with one shared purpose—to bring hope, support, and comfort to a family during a difficult journey. Every purchase supported two meaningful causes: helping fund Zoey's medical journey while creating income opportunities for the women of Kya Crafts.

Thank you to everyone who supported this initiative and to every person who continues to believe in the power of handmade creations to make a real difference. Together, we continue to stitch hope into our communities—one project, one family, and one life at a time.
