Worms aren’t just wriggly — they’re wonderful!
One of our farmers is using worm farming to turn food scraps into nutrient-rich compost.
🪱 Worms improve soil structure, boost microbial life, and help plants grow stronger.
Healthy soil = healthy food.

🐝 Want more bees in your garden? Plant for them!
Flowers like lavender, sunflowers, and wild basil attract pollinators and boost biodiversity.

More pollinators = better harvests and healthier ecosystems.

Choose indigenous plants, avoid pesticides, and let your garden buzz with life.

Not all bugs are pests — some are tiny little heroes in your garden!
These beneficial insects help protect your crops and pollinate your plants, all without chemicals.
🌿 Here are a few of our favourites:
Ladybugs – Eat aphids and other soft-bodied pests
Lacewings – Their larvae are fierce pest hunters
Solitary Bees – Excellent pollinators, especially for veggies and herbs
Spiders – Natural pest control (yes, even the creepy ones!)
Want to attract them? Plant flowers, avoid pesticides, and build bug hotels.
Let nature lend a hand in your garden!

Did you know most bees don’t live in hives?
Many are solitary and need safe places to nest—like bee hotels!
Bee hotels support pollination, biodiversity, and healthy harvests.
Use bamboo, wood blocks, or hollow stems to create one.
Place it in a sunny, sheltered spot near flowering plants.
A small hotel can make a big impact. Let’s welcome our buzzing friends!

Bugs in your garden? No need for harsh chemicals!
Here are 3 gentle, organic ways to keep pests away while protecting your soil and pollinators:
Companion Planting – Grow basil, marigolds, or garlic near your crops to naturally repel pests.
Neem Oil Spray – A safe, biodegradable option that keeps aphids and beetles at bay.
Invite Beneficial Insects – Ladybugs and lacewings love munching on pests!
Let’s grow food with kindness

A bug hotel worth buzzing about!
On a recent farm visit, we discovered a beautiful little structure built to welcome nature’s helpers — ladybugs, lacewings, and solitary bees.
These beneficial insects help keep pests away politely — no chemicals, just balance and biodiversity.
We love seeing farmers embrace gentle, organic practices that work in harmony with the environment.

🌧️ The rain is falling, the soil is waking up, and the rhythm of spring is calling — with bugs dancing right alongside it.
Crops are ready to thrive, and so is the ecosystem around them.
Whether you’re farming in fields or growing in greenhouses, bugs are part of the journey.
We’re kicking off our Spring Bug Series to explore how bugs affect your crops — and how organic growers manage them with care, creativity, and curiosity.
Stay tuned!
