PAYCO President Cde Sonwabo Nxiba lands in Ward 85 this weekend to rally the youth of Ekurhuleni for the 2026 Local Government Elections. For decades, the settler-colonial status quo has failed our people—true liberation starts with reclaiming our land and securing our future through the ballot.
We call on all young people in Rockville and Tsakane to register this weekend, reject compromise, and vote for the only revolutionary vanguard committed to total African self-determination

We honour the courage of the young lions who stood up against oppression on this day in 1976. The Soweto Uprising marked a turning point in our struggle for freedom, when students declared "Enough!" and the world took notice.

We pay tribute to the unwavering contributions of the Pan Africanist Congress and its leaders like Zephania Mothopeng, a fearless teacher, activist, and founding member of the PAC who dedicated his life to the fight against apartheid, enduring years of imprisonment and banning for the cause of liberation.

Their sacrifices remind us that the youth have always been at the forefront of change. Let us continue to walk in their footsteps, building a South Africa they envisioned, one rooted in justice, dignity, and freedom for all.

PAYCO STATEMENT: We condemn Afrophobia AND government failure. 30 years of porous borders, corruption, and unemployment have created this crisis, not our African brothers and sisters. The ANC has neglected our people whilst serving capital. We demand border control, job creation, and an end to opportunistic xenophobic mobilisation.
