To our incredible sponsors, supporters, and extended HOPE XI family…
What a weekend! Honestly, if smiles were runs, our kids would’ve broken every record in the book.
We’d like to start by thanking Riaan Riggy Riggs Jardine and DJ Kenny SA. From organising the full sound setup to putting together a proper DJ lineup (Cedric The DJ & DJ Illas) and spinning with the boys from Big Sport Motors, you guys didn’t just bring sound, you brought a whole vibe. At one point it felt less like a cricket tournament and more like a festival with wickets 😄
A special thank you to The Corner Shop for supplying electricity, because without power, there’s no sound, no music… and let’s be honest, no vibe. You kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
To Aunty Hawa & Zubaida, from endless coffee runs to some very “creative” last-minute requests, you always delivered. No fuss, just results. You are truly appreciated.
Big love to Jehan from Family Kitchen for making sure our kids were well fed throughout. Hungry kids don’t play good cricket, and you made sure that was never an issue. That’s not just catering, that’s care.
To Igsaan and his wife, thank you for the refreshments and snacks that kept everyone going between matches — those small touches made a big difference.
A special mention to Boza from Diva’s Softball Team for the incredible winter jersey run. Because of you, our kids stayed warm during those cold mornings — and still showed up ready to play. That kind of generosity goes a long way.
A heartfelt thank you to Aneesa Hendricks and family for the generous contribution towards our Monday lunch. That warm meal in the cold weather meant everything — it fed both body and spirit.
Uncle Baboo, our bread sponsor — simple, essential, and always appreciated. You kept things full and flowing.
Nazeer (Bhabi) from Continental Supermarket, thank you for the healthy breakfast and coffee on that cold Saturday morning. You helped kickstart the day the right way, warm, energized, and ready to go.
To our parents and supporters, your presence, your energy, your belief… that’s what truly makes this all possible. You didn’t just show up, you showed love.
To our coaches, the real MVPs behind the scenes. Your dedication, patience, and passion go far beyond cricket. You’re showing these kids that there is more to life — guiding them toward discipline, purpose, and better choices.
Because at the end of the day, this is bigger than cricket.
We carry a responsibility as adults to guide the next generation, to show them that there is more to life and through this beautiful game, we’re doing exactly that.
To everyone who played a role, organising, volunteering, supporting, or simply showing up — HOPE XI thanks you. You helped make our second tournament not just successful, but unforgettable.
Now… rest up, hydrate, and get ready… because the next one is coming, and it’s going to be even bigger 😉
