Home of Hope for Girls offers a safe residence to children and teens who have survived abusive situations At present we have 48 residents.

Home of Hope for Girls is an NPO organization that works to help commercially and sexually exploited children, victims of human trafficking, orphans, child-headed families and other vulnerable groups who may be infected or affected by HIV / AIDS or TB so that they are able to take control of their lives and be integrated back into society. We are committed to using a holistic and sustainable approach in our rehabilitation and education programmes in order to empower these young Girls and enable them to be integrated back into society and become self-sustainable young adults. At any one time we have between 45 and 50 young Girls resident at Home of Hope. When a young Girl enters Home of Hope, she joins a family. Mam' Khanyi, as she is affectionately and respectfully known, is their Mother while they live here. The foundation of Home of Hope is love, family and mutual respect. Home of Hope Shelter in Hillbrow is housed in two one-bedroomed flats. The upstairs flat has 24 double bunk beds which take up the entire flat. These are the sleeping quarters. The downstairs flat is where meals are served, and the homework and recreation area. As you can imagine, 48 Girls living in two flat take quite some organisation. They have one bathroom upstairs which will soon be converted into three showers. To give you an idea of how the living, eating and organisation of Home of Hope operates we have written "A day in the life at Home of Hope". It makes interesting reading and gives you an idea of the discipline required to make it a smooth process. TO DONATE:

Winter is here, and the girls at Home of Hope need our help ❤️

Home of Hope for Girls provides safety, care, and support for vulnerable girls who have experienced abuse, trafficking, and neglect.
As temperatures drop, their fuel costs rise — and they urgently need extra funds to keep their school bus running this winter.
Every donation, no matter how small, can help keep hope moving this winter.

If you are able to help, please consider donating: https://homeofhopeforgirls.co.za/hoh-debit-order-campaign-page

It also helps to share this post to spread the word 🙏

Together, we can help keep these girls safe, warm, and supported. Thank you for your support.

🎭✨ A Huge Thank You to Ballet Mzansi! ✨🎭

The girls from Berea Hillbrow Home of Hope had the most unforgettable evening at Sean Bovim’s Private Presley Ballet show — a spectacular celebration of Elvis Presley’s music brought to life through breathtaking dance and talent! 💃🕺

We are deeply grateful to Ballet Mzansi for generously donating the tickets and making it possible for our girls to experience the magic of theatre, creativity, and inspiration. 🌟

Moments like these remind our girls that dreams are possible, and the world is full of beauty and art waiting to be discovered. 💖

Thank you for opening their hearts to the power of dance! 🙏💫
