Besides ensuring they have fresh food, fresh water and treats on a daily basis, we also keep our cats happy with a steady supply of catnip balls. It seems they never tire of the happiness the catnip brings 😻

Our little cutie pies from our Sandton trapping 💙🩷.
‼️They're not yet up for adoption, nor will they be separated from each other, but please keep an eye on Furry Fosters page - their adoption post will go up as soon as they're ready for their for ever home‼️

Our two little feral kittens are coming along so beautifully. 🧡

We’ve still got some work to do, but after just two weeks they’ve started to realise that maybe; humans aren’t so bad after all.

This is the part we love most. Watching those walls of fear slowly come down. The first deep sighs of relief. The first purrs. The first time they discover what a toy is and how much fun it can be. And eventually, that magical moment when they decide, “You’re not so scary after all,” and take those first brave steps towards us.

There’s still a journey ahead for these two, but we’d love for you to meet Stella and Orbit. ✨

You don’t know it yet, little ones, but life only gets better from here.

Please note: We are not accepting adoption applications for Stella and Orbit at this stage. They’ll continue to focus on building their confidence and learning to trust before they’re ready to find their forever home. We’d like to fully understand there needs before jumping ahead any applications.

It’s such a privilege to watch frightened little feral kittens discover that the world can be safe. 💛

Our very shy Sunni is starting to get a little braver, and we're seeing him fairly regularly lately. Although he's yet to come closer, he's happy to have a good long chat with his feeders 🥰
It also seems that the Eco-Vet meds we give our cats daily are clearing up his eyes nicely, which makes us (and him, we're sure) very happy!

Sandton cats - Round 2 😻

We're having a busy weekend again. Trapping last night, vet drop off and collection today, and releasing cats tomorrow, but worth it for another 8 lives that have been changed for the better.

5 girls and 3 boys who will now live much easier lives ❤️

Thank you to Blue Bush Animal Clinic for looking after these little souls for us.

We're now at 21 cats trapped from this colony with one more (hopefully!) smaller round to go.

Thank you again Rachael for all your help - it's very much appreciated!

The cutest little early morning visitor 😍. Cane rats are as big as a small cat. Our cats are no threat to them and will just watch them going about their business. We love seeing wildlife on the trail camera peacefully co-existing with our lovely ferals.

We've had a busy weekend, but 13 beautiful lives have been changed for the better 😻

We were contacted a few weeks ago by a lady looking after cats at a colony very close to our little Sandton colony, needing help with TNR. Given the number of cats to be trapped and knowing we couldn't tackle this alone, we roped in the ever-willing Furry Fosters and the amazing Jackie Stanton for help.

8 girls and 3 boys were sterilised and released, and 2 hissy, spitty little kittens taken into foster care. We'll return for round 2 of trapping in the coming weeks.

Our very cute Wobbles is looking very...healthy 😹. We don't mind a slightly chubby feral, especially in winter!
