Our handsome boys, Benji and James, have not yet found their forever homes. They have been with us for a long time. Unfortunately, we can't keep them in kennels forever and so we are putting out another call for adoption applications before needing to make some difficult decisions. If you would like to add either pooch to your family, please get in touch as soon as possible. Please share the post to help us spread the word. Both boys are fully vaccinated, sterilized, and chipped. They get on with other dogs, cats unknown. Benji (Rottweiler x Lab) has loads of energy and is very playful. Will fit beautifully into a home with older children. James is quieter and is looking for his retirement home. Both dogs are roughly 8-9 years old. Please get in touch if you are interested.

URGENT HOME NEEDED. Our most gentle of all dogs, James is still up for adoption. Unfortunately, James has been in our kennels for almost 18 months now, with no applications that have followed through. It's unbelievable to think that such a sweet boy can't find a home. James is about 8 years old. He is fully vaccinated and sterilized. He would be amazing with an older couple or single person who works from home, who wants a four-legged friend for company. He is a low-maintenance dog. He just wants a beef stick to chew on and to be around his person. He is ok with relaxed dogs but prefers to be an only dog. James is struggling in the kennel environment. We are doing everything we can to keep him happy. He does go to a doggy daycare 3 times a week to socialize, but a kennel environment is not a permanent solution for any dog. If you want to make James a part of your family, please DM as soon as possible. Please use IG as we are having a few issues with our Facebook account. Please help us get James home. He is in urgent need of a forever family.

So, we don't usually post anything unrelated to our Rescues, but we can't not say CONGRATULATIONS to our Boys. You played a nail-biting game and defended your country with honour. We are so proud of you! As Captain Siya Kolisi and Coach Jacques Nienaber said in the post-match interview, this country faces a huge amount of problems every day, and we battle against those challenges every day. As a country, we NEEDED something positive to be proud of. It feels amazing when we can collectively be proud as a people. What a journey the has been; and what a moment last night was. I challenge all of our communities to rise up over all the negative politics and challenges we face and come together to solve problems together with our shared creativity, skills, and intellect. If our Bokke can be an example of what it is to work together in our diversity, to us, we can take that prevervial ball and run with it.

Benji came in for a close-up. He was trying to see who was inside the camera. I told him the camera fairies were looking for his new family. They were remembering his face so that they could share it with lots of people.

Doesn't he just have the most beautiful eyes? This adorable sausage roll is still waiting for his forever family to find him. He is a Labrador X, possibly Rottweiler. He has a wonderful, playful personality. Just loves people and dogs. LOVES playing in water more than South Africa love the Bokke.

Guess what???

Frankie has been ADOPTED!! The wonderful Le Roux family, who adopted Alfie from us a year ago, has once again opened their home to another dog needing a home. Our sweet Frankie boy, we are so happy for you. You didn't get the best start in life, but you will certainly, without any doubt, have the best life going forward. We want to extend a big big thank you to this wonderful family. We are so appreciative of you.
