Today the African SAP User Group (AFSUG) team met with our SAP representatives across all our Special Interest Groups (SIGs) for a valuable collaboration and alignment session.

We had open discussions around future focus areas, partnership opportunities, and how we continue strengthening the relationship between AFSUG and SAP for the benefit of our community.

A big thank you to all our SAP representatives for the time, guidance, collaboration, and volunteer contribution you bring to our SIGs and the broader AFSUG community. Your support and engagement are truly appreciated.

Super proud to represent AFSUG and co-host the SUGEN Best Practice Day with Craig Dale and Ronald Schippers today at SAP Walldorf and introducing Geoff Scott from ASUG at the event. Meeting up with Ana Encinas and other User Group colleagues in Germany. What a privilege to be part of SUGEN.

2025 — a year of absolute pleasure, purpose, and people.
As we look back on 2025, our hearts are full.
This year was about connection, learning, and growing together as a community of SAP users across Africa.
From inspiring conversations and knowledge-sharing sessions, to meaningful partnerships, volunteer energy, and moments of real impact — every interaction reminded us why community matters. We saw professionals show up for one another, share lessons openly, challenge ideas respectfully, and celebrate progress together.
AFSUG is not just about events or platforms — it’s about people.
People who give their time, share their expertise, ask the hard questions, mentor the next generation, and believe in building something bigger than themselves.
Thank you to our members, volunteers, partners, speakers, and supporters for making 2025 such a special year. You are the heartbeat of this community.
Here’s to the memories we made, the growth we achieved, and the momentum we carry forward into the future. 🌍✨
Onwards — together.

Today, we proudly hosted the first of three SAP University Alliances and AFSUG Student Career Days!

Students from University of the Witwatersrand and University of Johannesburg had the privilege of engaging directly with speakers, leaders, experts, and SAP colleagues — gaining invaluable insights, connections, and inspiration for their future careers.

A big well done to the African SAP User Group (AFSUG) team, specifically Tracey Keene for the arrangements, and our collaborating with De Wet Naude to make this event such a success. 💡👏

We look forward to continuing this journey in Cape Town and Pretoria as we connect, create, and collaborate with the next generation of SAP leaders. 🌍🚀

A special thank you to our speakers today Marko Stavrou, Tumelo Mothotoane, Kagiso Hlabahlaba, Wendy Maduna, Bruce Reddy MBA and Tejal Somaru - (M.Inst.D)

We were excited to also host Mercedes-Benz AG, EY, EPI-USE Labs, The HEINEKEN Company, Sasol, SAP and Graham Henderson and Mabuke Maserumule VW that attended and spent time with the students with insights and knowledge sharing ❤️

This Women’s Month, AFSUG honours the phenomenal women who shape and strengthen our community.

To every woman who participates, leads, mentors, learns, and uplifts - thank you.

You are many things - mothers, leaders, strategists, innovators, nurturers, decision-makers, creators, and visionaries. You bring your whole self into every space, and in doing so, inspire those around you.

Your continued presence and engagement in the AFSUG community drives transformation, sparks dialogue, and builds a powerful network of support and knowledge across Africa.

This month, we celebrate your depth, your brilliance, and your voice.
You are not just one thing - you are many, and we are stronger because of you.
