Impact Baby Rescue Impact Baby Rescue is a subsidiary of the nonprofit organization Impact Africa. Every day, 3 infants are abandoned on the streets of Johannesburg.

We exist to prevent baby abandonment, rescue abandoned babies and provide life-long family care. The Impact Africa Baby Rescue Center exists to prevent baby abandonment, rescue abandoned babies and provides life-long family care. Impact Africa is committed to being an advocate that will intervene on behalf of these desperate young mothers and their precious babies in order to ensure the best future for their children, while rescuing and preventing babies from being abandoned.

Adopted into the Kingdom of God, chosen by grace, loved without condition, and given a place at the Father’s table. This is the beauty of the Gospel: we are no longer strangers, but family.

And in a beautiful reflection of that same love, we get to witness adoption and redemption in the lives of the babies we rescue, little ones once facing uncertainty, now surrounded by hope, family, and a future.

Every week, as our team gathers and shares stories, statistics, and updates, we are reminded that this mission is so much bigger than numbers. Every woman educated, encouraged, and reminded that she is not alone matters. Every conversation carries hope. Every baby in our Promise Homes carries a future filled with purpose, love, and the possibility of adoption into a forever family.

It is truly such an honour to witness lives being reached, hearts being restored, and hope being placed back into the hands of women and children who need it most.

Together, they share vital education around baby abandonment, connect desperate mothers to support and resources, and remind communities that there is always another option.

This is more than awareness. It is prevention. It is hope. It is meeting women in some of their most vulnerable moments and helping protect the lives of babies across South Africa.

Through Impact Baby Rescue, our heart is not only to rescue babies from abandonment, but to help change the trajectory of their lives. From a place of uncertainty to a place of safety. From waiting to belonging. From rescue to family.

When a baby is united with their forever family, a new story begins. One filled with love, hope, stability, and the reminder that every child is worthy of a future.
