Happy Heavenly Birthday, Mom 🌹

Today marks your birthday, and at the same time, tomorrow marks five months since you left us. It’s a bittersweet day, one of celebration and remembrance. Though I didn’t get the chance to say goodbye or share that last conversation with you, I hold on to the love you gave me every single day🫂.

In your honor, I chose to give back to the people of your hometown and the city where you lived a part of your life. I didn't do it alone but with the help of people you have touched. It’s my way (&our way) of saying “thank you” to you, Mom, thank you for the life you lived, the sacrifices you made, and the love you poured into everyone around you. You taught me that kindness knows no boundaries of color or background🙏you treated everyone the same and shared your heart so freely.

Today, we don’t just mourn your absence😇we celebrate your life💃. We honor the beautiful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend you were, and we keep your legacy alive through giving, just as you did.

You have given birth to a project that will continue to remind us of you.
