🩶“He’s half his mom and half his dad, and he needs to be proud of both halves.” 💜

Co-parenting isn’t always easy, but putting your child first can change the conversation. This Women’s Month, we’re making space for conversations around co-parenting, communication and the role we all play in creating healthier families.

💜Women’s Month means making space for the broader conversations that shape women’s lives and families🩶

📖 Co-parenting can be difficult, especially when communication breaks down. But when children come first, there is an opportunity to reflect on shared responsibility, support and the role both parents can play in creating healthier families.

✨In our second Coach podcast, Sthembiso Phakathi, founder of the Single Dads Network, talks about co-parenting, communication and where to start.

A father’s presence can shape how a daughter understands love, safety, and the kind of man she deserves. But when that presence is missing, others often step in to fill the gap. 🌱

💜🩶This Women’s Month, Heartlines Director of Communications Nevelia Moloi reflects on fatherhood, masculinity, and the lasting impact of the men who choose to show up: https://www.heartlines.org.za/fathers-matter/stories/how-dads-define-manhood-for-their-daughters

Women's experiences of fatherhood shape how we see ourselves, and our place in the world. And as women, young or old, we owe it to ourselves to begin the work of coming to terms with our own father story and how it’s impacted who we are today.
