Green Skills Development 2026
Today, Clean City SA proudly concluded the 2-Day Green Skills Development 2026 Training Programme in Eldorado Park, Gauteng, supporting aspiring youth entrepreneurs to unlock opportunities in the waste management industry.
This impactful programme is delivered in partnership with GS1 South Africa through the CGCSA Producer Responsibility Organisation, which is funded by the Wholesale and Retail SETA, and will see Clean City SA facilitating training of young people from Gauteng, Mpumalanga and Limpopo.
Young entrepreneurs will be equipped with practical knowledge, skills and insights to pursue sustainable business opportunities within the waste management and circular economy sector.
Following the training, participants will also be placed with host organisations for one month of practical workplace experience, helping them build confidence, networks and real-world experience. At the end of the programme, youth entrepreneurs will be given tools necessary to assist them to build and grow their businesses.
Building skills. Creating opportunities. Growing green enterprises.
