Iziko Educare and Community Centre - IECC is a registered non-profit organization that was established in June 2013 by Hard working, innovated, inspiring, passionate and community-driven board of directors by the names called Ntomboxolo Nteyi, Wendy Sibisi & Nomthandazo Zondi and later joined by other members who were driven by their similar desire in addressing the community issues of Izingolweni
and surrounding areas within Ugu District under Ray Nkonyeni Local Municipality, also contributing in the community development, considering how much of a difference a non-profit organization can make, the general public and not just the board of directors & to become one of the organisation that bring light and change in the community of Izingolweni addressing all the spheres of life such as social, personal, health, education, relationships, employment and spiritual development.. IZIKO is an organization that mainly deals with community education issues, health issues, youth empowerment by involving the department of Social Development, Department of Health, Department of Education, Department of Economic and Environmental Affairs, Department of Labour and other NGO’s who share the same vision as ours, to partner up to develop rural and other previously advantaged areas by the means of education. OUR MISSION: We are dedicated to total excellence and value-added service towards our community and partners and Iziko Educare and Community Centre works to enhance the dignity and quality of life of individuals and the families by strengthening communities, eliminating barriers to opportunity, and helping people in need reach their full potential through learning and cultivating people's minds for growth and be able to fight socio-economy and social ills, so as to live in harmony and peacefully. Iziko Educare and Community Center will strive to provide a friendly, warm, supportive, safe, clean, stimulating, loving and caring environment for our youth, women and vulnerable individuals.
