Zisize Educational Trust with support from KZN Department of Social Development commemorated International Day for Men on the 20th November 2025 at Ezibayeni community hall under the Theme: Supporting Men and Boys.

The event was aimed at equipping young males on GBV issues, capacitating males about gender stereotype among others. Gracing the event was Prince Nhlanganiso kaZwelithini KZN Men’s health champion. In attendance were various stakeholders includeing DSD, DOH, SAPS, Life Line Zululand, Ezibayeni tribal council, SANCA, Ezibayeni Flagship, Department of Community Safety and Liaison and men from Ezibayeni and surrounding areas.

Zisize Career Guidance Office continued in November 2025 to visit various Primary and High Schools to talk to students on types of careers available in the world and how to choice accordingly.

Topics like choosing high schools, choosing subjects and steps towards achieving educational goals and meeting career requirements took centre stage.
Schools visited included: Manyiseni, Mayaluka, Ithubalethu, Bhekabantu Primary schools and Msiyane high school.

Career guidance may be more linked to children, students and education but there is more to it than just children going to schools, attaining tertiary education and getting jobs.
Even as an adult you can seek career guidance assistance to move into a new job and career. There are also various stakeholders that need to be involved for this to be valuable to our children and others.
