A normal busy Tuesday clinic day. Lots of dogs needing tick and flea treatment, and deworming. Unfortunately we cannot get stock of the rabies vaccine, if anyone can help us get some of this vaccine, please advice asap.

Puppy Visits and Young Hearts 🐾

One of our favourite moments at PAL is when young members of the community arrive with their puppies.

These visits are about more than treatment. We spend time teaching proper dog care, showing how to handle puppies gently, and sharing just how special and loving dogs truly are. There is always time for play, laughter, and connection too.

By teaching kindness and responsibility early on, we are helping shape a future where dogs are cared for with respect and love.

These moments remind us why this work matters. 🧡

🐾 Urgent: Dogs in Need of Safe Homes 🧡

Many of the dogs we care for in the Transkei are living in heartbreaking conditions surrounded by clutter and waste, with no bedding, no shelter and no protection from the cold or rain.

This is not because they aren’t loved.
It’s because many families in these communities simply cannot afford proper housing or supplies for their dogs.

Without warm bedding or shelter, dogs are left vulnerable to illness, injury, and suffering. 💔

🧺 We urgently need donations of:
• Blankets
• Dog beds or bedding
• Kennels or shelter materials
• Food
• Any unused pet items

Every donation, big or small, helps us improve a dog’s daily life and restore dignity and comfort where it’s needed most.
