Today, on International Nurses Day 2026, we once again had the privilege of thanking the incredible nurses who serve our community with dedication, compassion and strength every single day.

Nursing is far more than a profession — it is a calling that requires patience, resilience and a genuine commitment to caring for others, often under challenging circumstances.

Today, we proudly honoured the nurses who continue to make a difference in Hoedspruit and beyond. Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and our community is stronger because of you.

Welcome to the Rotary Club of Hoedspruit, Kim!

We are delighted to officially welcome Kimberley Nagel as our newest member, inducted on 23 April 2026.
Kimberley is a teacher at Southern Cross School in Hoedspruit, and we are excited to have her join our Rotary family. It is wonderful to see our club continuing to grow with young people from our local community who are committed to service, connection, and making a positive difference.

Proud to support Hlokomela “Walk the Talk” initiative today in recognition of Health Awareness Month. 💧🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

The Rotary Club of Hoedspruit was happy to be part of this meaningful event by hosting a water point for the walkers along the 17 km route.

A special thank you to Uncle Lesh and the Hlokomela team for leading by example and encouraging healthy lifestyles in our community — and well done to everyone who took part! 👏
