Guardians of the Sky🦅

Few sights are as impressive as watching a group of Cape Vultures soaring effortlessly above the cliffs where they nest.

These remarkable birds are one of five different vulture species found in our area, all of which are classified as endangered or critically endangered.

Often misunderstood, vultures play a vital role in keeping ecosystems healthy and balanced. Their ability to cover vast distances and locate carrion helps prevent the spread of disease and supports the natural cycle of life.

Seeing them in their element is a powerful reminder that every species has an important role to play in the natural world.
