Keeping an eye on our seniors means recognising that every person has their own story and needs. We’re proud to provide companionship, kindness and practical support, helping our seniors feel seen, valued and cared for. 💜

This month, let’s raise awareness, show patience and remember that every act of kindness makes a difference.

💙 Meet Our Volunteers – Viv van Breda

"About four years ago, I received an emergency call from my Buddy after she had a fall. We were able to help her get the assistance she needed. That day reminded me that being a Buddy isn't only about companionship – it's also about being there in moments of real need. For many of our seniors, knowing someone cares enough to answer that one urgent call can make all the difference."

Viv's story is a beautiful reminder of what Hilton Buddies is all about. It's not just about checking in or sharing a chat; it's about building meaningful connections and being there when it matters most.
