We had an amazing time with the HImba team and we went 120km (2hrs) on a dirt road into the bush to visit a school - wow, it was such a blessing and the Headmistress is Christian and we were able to pray with her and pray over the school (it boards 400 children from gr 1 - 11) and the children etc. We donated some devices to the school and she was so excited that they could play God's word in their classrooms in the Himba lessons. This school has Himba, Herero and Mvumba.

Then we visited a blind pastor (who relies on hearing) en route home and gave him some of the devices and then also the village of one of our translators as they were asking for more devices.

The books currently on the device are:
Genesis
Mark
Luke
Acts
Romans
1 and 2 Timothy
Hebrews

Exodus is currently being translated as the nomadic tribes will be able to identify with this aspect of God leading His people through the land.

We were able to give them 55 devices - thank you SO much for all your generous donations!
The team will be distributing the rest to other villages….

We live in a country where we can access the Bible without fear of persecution and so our heart is to make His Word available to those who may not have that same freedom due to financial restrictions, political control or religious prejudice.
