A massive congratulations to Roger Downard on achieving the incredible milestone of completing his 500th parkrun at Shongweni parkrun today!

This remarkable achievement is made even more special by Roger's outstanding contribution as a volunteer, having volunteered an amazing 232 times. As one of our dedicated core volunteers, Roger has played a huge role in helping make Shongweni parkrun the welcoming and successful community it is today.

Your commitment, dedication, selfless service, and passion for parkrun have inspired countless participants over the years. Whether running, walking, volunteering, or supporting others, you have embodied the true spirit of parkrun every step of the way.

Thank you for your unwavering dedication, your positive attitude, and the countless hours you have given to our parkrun family. We are incredibly proud to celebrate this milestone with you.

Here's to 500 parkruns, 232 volunteer credits, and many more memorable Saturdays ahead!
