The Friends are a group of locals who assist with fund-raising to upgrade and preserve this area.

Today we honoured Bulumko Ndabambi of the Old Harbour Museum. He was assisting the Friends throughout the year on different projects, always with a positive attitude. We are looking forward to work with you on many more projects. The Friends of the Old Harbour Museum embarked on a journey to revamp the De Wets Huis and Old Harbour Museum. So far we've managed to rearange the exhibit of De Wets Huis and added a fresh coat of paint. Our next chapter was to rearange the exhibit in the Old Harbour Museum, with a coat of paint of course, giving the space a fresh breath of life. While this is still a work in progress, please pop in to see what we have achieved so far.

We are currently working with the museum on planning new exhibitions for both these museums, but this will take time and funds need to be raised. Please subscribe to the Friends of the Old Harbour Museum at [email protected]
