🚨 THIS IS ME TRULY ASKING FOR A MIRACLE FOR PAWS AND PURRS. 🚨
It’s the 6th of the month, and we simply haven’t raised enough to cover our basic monthly animal supplies, our rescue vehicle payment, or the money needed to get our rescue vehicle back on the road.
We have now been stuck without our vehicle for almost a week.
And the reality of that is heartbreaking.
We have had to say NO to animals who needed help because we physically could not get to them.
We have had to ask people for lifts just to collect a few essential supplies we could afford.
We are far from the city. There are no easy deliveries to our door. There certainly isn’t an Uber waiting around the corner.
Our rescue vehicle isn’t a luxury. It is how we keep this rescue running.
It is how we collect food.
It is how we get medication.
It is how we get cleaning supplies.
It is how we get water.
It is how we get animals to the vet.
It is how we respond when someone desperately needs help.
And right now, we don’t have it.
💔 I am defeated.
💔 I am broken.
💔 And I am asking one last time for help.
Because if we cannot find a way out of this situation, I am genuinely scared that this could be the end of Paws and Purrs.
But then I look at the animals sleeping safely here.
The ones who were abandoned.
The ones who were sick.
The ones who were starving.
The ones nobody else wanted.
The ones whose lives we have already fought so hard to save.
What happens to them if we give up?
We can’t just close our doors and walk away.
But how do we continue paying for their food, their care and their medical needs when we are struggling just to keep the doors open?
Closing is not an option.
So I’m asking our community, our supporters, our followers and anyone who believes that these lives matter:

🚗 R3,000 — Rescue vehicle payment
🔧 R3,300 — Labour to fit the new clutch
🐾 R5,000 — Animal food & essential supplies

We don’t need one person to save us.
If 113 people gave R100, we’d reach our goal.
If 226 people gave R50, we’d reach it.
Even R20, R50 or R100 makes a difference when enough people stand together.
