Thula Thula now has a registered non-profit organisation in Germany! Zululand Hilfe e.V. (Zululand Help) has been created to allow donations in Europe for our conservation and community efforts. With a German registered non-profit organisation, you will be able to deduct donations from your tax within Germany and the EU! For more information, please visit www.zululandhilfe.org
As we did in January 2025 by distributing 1000 pairs of school shoes to underprivileged children in the communities around Thula Thula, our aim is to increase this number for the beginning of the coming school year!
We thank you for your support!

Lunch is served! As the cheetah are currently kept in the boma to acclimatise and to get used to their new surroundings, we have to feed them. As soon as they are out of the boma, they will continue to hunt on their own! Aren’t they just gorgeous?

Baby Season! This new born giraffe is quenching its thirst. Did you know that giraffe mothers give birth standing up? The baby giraffe drops head first onto the ground from a height of almost two meters – how is that for an entrance into the world.

Welcome to your new home!
Thula Thula welcomed another arrival, a 6 months old Black-Backed Jackal lady. Cared for by FreeMe Wildlife who brought the pup to Thula Thula. She will be kept in our Rehabilitation Centre for a few weeks, before being released into the game reserve. This is another important step for conservation, as jackals have roamed the Southern African savannah already 4 million years ago!
