𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁

As the Township Economic Development (TED) Project draws to a close, this page will no longer be updated.

The Virtual Imbizo’s were created to foster connection, share information, and spark local dialogue during a time when in-person gatherings were limited. It became a space for residents, local businesses, and other stakeholders to engage, raise concerns, and learn about development efforts in your local community.

We thank all the community members who participated and contributed to meaningful engagement here. Thank you to all who interacted and helped make this page a community-driven success.

Please refer to municipal channels to stay connected with local development efforts.

With appreciation,
The TED Project Team

Over the past two months, our team has been working with amazing members of the Hammanskraal community to bring attention to the important yet often underserved agro-processing industry. To showcase the incredible contributions of local businesses, we’ve produced a short film that highlights the post-harvest processing of food and health products by township microenterprises.

🌟 Featured in the film are Moringa Lifestyle, Rokotla Honey by Roman Tladi, Ntate Patrick’s delicious Artchaar, Mme Connie’s roasted peanuts, and Elizabeth Lehabe's Reyawep Naturals.

Watch this film to understand the incredible work happening in this sector and the opportunities it presents. Let’s support these inspiring businesses and others like them! By choosing local, we boost Hammanskraal’s economy and celebrate local talent.
