The Retsogile Permaculture Education & Training Trust The farm is located in Limpopo, South Africa. It does charitable training of subsistence farmers in P It is a charitable Trust whose vision is;
1.

The Retsogile Permaculture Education & Training Trust was founded by Ken Strang with an initial grant of 82 hectares of land and a generous cash sum. Raising funds through profitable training programmes and donors and which funds will be used to provide free education and training to subsistence farmers to assist them in increasing their yields and varieties sustainably;
2. To establish food garde

ns in rural schools to add value to the School Feeding Scheme (this will have the added benefit of exposing the students to the ethics of Permaculture and teaching the students to grow food), and;
3. To embark on community outreach programmes in the field of Early Childhood Development by assisting and training educators and care-givers. Quote: ''The Trust was established by me with the intent of completing the circle of the three ethics of Permaculture. ‘’Earth Care’’ and ‘’People Care’’ I have practised all my life and now I want to ‘’Share the Surplus’’ that I have accumulated in my life so that those less fortunate may have a ‘’Fair Share’’ and be equipped with the knowledge and skills to improve their lives with an abundance of food. It is my sincere belief that eliminating hunger is the first step to eliminating poverty.'' Unquote. The farm is run as a theoretical and practical learning centre and, as such, is a functional farm which is aimed at self-sustainment. We are currently upgrading living quarters for volunteers and students. Long-term interns will be accommodated in the training centre. Despite Mr Strang's generosity, we are always in need of funds to implement new food gardens in schools and other charitable projects.
